This picture says nothing is out of your reach. This is so true because as you can see in the picture this kid is really short but, he still playing basketball. I feel that he doesn't care if he doesn't have the height, he still playing, enjoying the game and improving his mistakes. It looks like he is trying to get better. I really appreciate this because it tells me that I should't care if I am not tall, Ishould still be out there trying to better myself, improving on my game. I name this title what pushes me because things like this when I see others trying to get better despite the difficult obstacles ahead of them helps me to work even harder to get where I want to be. You can learn anything from anyone in this world, even a small child. I know that nothing is out of my reach, I can use this over and over again reminding myself of this and my game will improve every time on the court. This allows me to have the right mind set when i touch that ball. When I'm on the court my whole life changes when I touched the ball. It's like i'm a different pesron, that's what I like because I can go into a game dominating each quarter. When trying to get better players need to realize that the sky is the limit, anything is possible.

Dream the impossiple because like people always say impossible is nothing. I like the fact that the kid is holding a basketball and looking up. You can tell that h e is in a deep thought, he's dreaming. I want to make it and that's my dream. I think every day and night will I do better than last night, or will I be the best on the court today. Everything in life that we all look at and eventually want to be starts with a dream. Just like another post I had I talked about vision. It is the same as dreaming. In your head you must have that clear vision of what you want. Dreams can take you far, it is what makes you strive for your goals. I truly believe that nothing in this world is impossible to do. You have to put your mind into it not only that but, your heart and soul to it. I have faith and this is what makes me believe that God will help me accomplish my goals because my lord is everything to me. I never want to dream small because it puts doubt in me that I can't do certain things and certain problems in life will be hard for me to get by. I dream big because it builds me up and tells me that anything can happen, nothing is hard. this is what God said, "Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me?"--Jer. 32:26, 27. That's why we dream the impossible because the Lord is there to help.
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing. I got this from the internet but, if i'm not mistaken it's from someone in the NBA.
Here are some qoutes that speak to me about dreaming and believing. There all from the internet some not sure who said them...
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.
Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.
The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dreams shall never die.
Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men.

If your that positive guy, you must step up and be a leader for your team. A positive person puts their team in the right place on and off the court. A leader helps make their teamates ready for games, practice and ready to improve. Everyone on a team is a leader but, it takes one peron to go above and beyond their expectation and that's why those certain people become captain. I don't care if i get chosen to be captain or not on the team, but I want to help the team in all ways. I always want to put my teamates in the right mind so we can go out their and go home with a win. I look on the web and these are five things on what basketball leader ship is. They might not be the best and five most important ones but, these tips can help.
1.They Work Harder than everyone else. You must show up early and leave late. There is no substitute for hard work and there are no short cuts. You must have a plan, you need to know where you want to go and what you must do to get there. It's been said that Kobe Bryant will take as many as 2000 jump shots a day in the off-season. Could this be a factor in him leading the league in scoring?
2.They Are Excited to be playing basketball. Enthusiasm is contagious to all that are exposed to it. Love what you do and inspire others to have fun. Your heart must be in it in order for you to strive to improve and learn more.
3.They are in Great Mental And Physical Condition. Your mental condition is of extreme importance because it'll determine how hard you're going to work and how enthusiastic you'll be about playing the game. You must believe in yourself and you must believe in your teammates. If you believe you're a champion, then that's what you'll become!
4.They've Mastered The Fundamentals. Although we all love the "show time" part of basketball. It's the fundamentals that win games. As a basketball leader, you must constantly strive to master the fundamentals of the game; then constantly help your teammates improve in those areas as well.
5.The basketball leadership heroes have an outstanding Team Spirit. You must encourage teamwork and unselfishness at every opportunity. You must be eager to sacrifice personal glory for the welfare of the team. Encourage your teammates, motivate them, help them to achieve their goals. You must be the bigger person and in the end you'll be rewarded.

After reading this, it made me think if I want to be great one day I must have the skills and ability of a leader. Having a good leader helps put your team on the right path. I know I don't want to fail, so on the court I have to be a leader!

This is a picture of a team huddling up maybe because they called a time out or something any ways this picture says no limits. Under that it says when a team makes a commitment to act as one, the sky's the limit. This is so true, this is what I'm talking about, every player needs to realize that when good teamwork is achieve winning is so easily accomplish. When you don't think about only your self and start to think about every body else on the team, everything that you want to happen, starts to happen on the court. Teamwork is something that defines a championship team whether or not you win the title, you can understand when your team works together they are a winning team. Even if they don't have that object to prove it and show it other people, they are still a winning team. No one looses when you play hard, give it your all and work as a team. That is a greater goal to achieve in every game instead of thinking about the win all the time. You win some and sometimes you loose some. There's definitely no limits, that is something i would share to my team before we go to a game. This will truly help us because it puts our heads in the right mind and ready physically just as well as mentally.

This picture has the word determination in it and if anybody wants to play basketball this one thing that you definitely need to have. You need this because this allows you to play with out fear one the court. Makes you not nervous and be able to play beyond your ability and skills. The quote that is in this says determination allows mere mortals to soar to unimaginable, new heights. Wow, I really think this is good motivation and a very good definition of determination in basketball. To think the unthinkable that's what great players do like Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash and many more. When they have a good performance and do something no one was expecting in the game it is all because of determination. I want to be determine like the great players in the NBA because most of those people is the reason why the game is so special. I want to have that determination to win games, practice hard, get better, and make it in the future. This is what pushes me to want it more than i ever wanted. The player holding the ball in this picture is determine that he is going to make the basket over all the defenders. He has the look of fearless on his face. He doesn't care who's there he just knows that he scoring. That is something I want to do all the time on the court. To be a talented basketball player you need to posses determination every time your playing an important game or even just practicing.

In basketball you need to be able to work as a team because basketball is not an individual team it is a group thing. Every player must posses that great teamwork. The words in this picture describes it well and it says the cooperative effort of reaching greater heights through unity. Teamwork means what it means working together. No one works together for nothing, a team does this because they need to accomplish something that can't be done by themselves alone but, together it is possible. In this picture there are four men working together to put up a basketball net. They each know that they can't put it up alone, they need each other to make this happen. That's what basketball is about. Players need to know what the true meaning of team means. There's no selfishness that comes with it and the reason why I say this is because some players play for themselves. They are to concerned with the only way they play and not how well the team is playing. Like the ball only revolves around them and that they to show off their skills. That is no team player. I want to be a great basketball player and I know one thing for sure if you can't play as a team your not going no where. I like to work as a team because things happen more quicker like in scoring and getting the ball back after when the ball had just turnover to the other team. Everyone looks good on the court and the crowd can tell if they are a winning team all because of teamwork.

It says if it is to be, it is up to me. See I want to be that guy who always finishes the game. I want to standout from all the other players. You know be the man on the court that everybody comes to watch play because they know that, that person is going to do something special. Of coarse i don't want to be a ball hog or something but I want to finish games whether or not I shot the winning bucket. Even if I'm the one who made that play happen then it is all good. The feeling of being that great person must be wonderful. There are many people like this in the NBA like Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and even in the past Michael Jordan. To be the great you have to electrify the crowd get them in the game to help your team win. I want to be that person someone who always makes the crowd at the edge of their seats the whole game. That to me is some of the qualities of a special and talented basketball player.

Not all players show or want to make it that badly. Everybody is different and this poster says it best perseverance. This word means steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, and or a state in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. People or players who have perseverance in them don't care what is in front of them. The only thing that matters is defeating or getting pass the wall even if you got to go through it. Under the word perseverance in the picture it says the difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will. Players who want to get better will succeed, they are the ones that make it. The question is are you ready to do anything just to make it. I want to become better that's why when I go to practice I take everything he says seriously because it shows that you know your not the best and that you want to become the best. You have to be ready to listen to the coach and all the people that are helping you. You have to show it each and every day to become a great. I want it that badly so am ready for that kind of training, i want to become better.
